I want to briefly mention the value of video in comparison to still photography. Just so there's no misunderstanding, I want to say at the outset that every wedding needs a still photographer. That being said, video, much like 'motion picture' frames on a film reel, is a progression of 'photos' or frames that gives the illusion of motion. When you consider that video is captured at a rate of approximately thirty 'photos' or frames per second, you will get an idea of the value of video compared to the per photo value of still photography. I might add that any one of those 'photos' or frames of video can be captured much like a photograph. For example, that one quick wink from the groom might be missed by the still photographer but can be isolated and still framed by the videographer.
